Our promise as a C.I.C. is as follows:

  • All assets of the business are locked for the benefit of our preferred charities
  • 65% of surplus generated by the organisation will be distributed amongst the charities we work with. The remaining funds will go towards funding new projects and awareness campaigns for our charity partners. ABLE will derive no financial benefit from the work undertaken
  • We will work on a completely transparent basis with all the charities we work with
  • Our commitment is to manage and deliver the events at a minimum of 30% below standard market rates based on a like for like comparison

Basil Nally, Founder

Basil is the founder of ABLE. Continuing to work in the healthcare and legal services arena, he wants to use his commercial skills to ensure ABLE can make a difference to those charities it works closely with. His focus is on identifying charity partners, establishing event/project concepts to work on together and delivering on the fundraising strategy to allow the team to create a truly special event to help support the work of our charity partners.

“Having older family members and a brother and niece with Down’s Syndrome, and recognising the challenges faced I want to do what I can to help raise awareness and support for charities that work in these areas”

Donna Duffy, Event Manager

Donna founded Gold Wing Event Management after a successful career in the world of F1.   Working with both private and corporate clients our ethos is to change the perception that hiring an event manager is only for the privileged.  We keep our costs low by using smaller start up suppliers thus helping them to expand their businesses and client bases whilst never compromising on design and quality.  However, our real forte is the ability to listen to clients and keep within their budgets.

“I take a real pride in giving back to local communities and businesses and like to support a number of charities each year. I have been personally involved in projects for various charitable concerns which are close to my heart including cancer, helping the homeless and working with ex-servicemen and women”
